All Time Favorite Movies

I have a hard time sitting through a whole movie. I think it was because when my kids were little when they were preoccupied with watching something…that was my time to get things done around the house. There are a few exceptions to that rule that I am sharing with you today.

These six movies without a doubt are my all time favorite. Ever.

I love the old classics and these fit the bill perfectly. These are movies that we have watched over and over for years. Some are a yearly tradition when all the kids are home.

I pulled these pictures off Amazon and you can purchase them there (they are all linked). There is a brief description of each movie under the picture.

Pour your favorite drink and grab some snacks, settle in for a few hours…you are in for a treat!  Be sure and let me know which ones you watch and what you think.

Do you have a favorite movie/movies? Please share with me!91kiqxqfGXL._SX466_The Great Race  This one is my favorite. Mr D. and I have fun quoting it for funny situations.  Family friendly and hilarious!

Academy Award winner Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis and Natalie Wood star in a slapstick farce about a 22,000-mile road race from New York to Paris set in 1908. Dastardly, black-garbed Dr. Fate (Lemmon) dares the world’s greatest hero, The Great Leslie (Curtis), to the race across the Wild West, through frozen Alaska and into the Kingdom of Carpania. Fate sets a series of nefarious traps for Leslie, but neither plans on the indefatigable suffragette Maggie DuBois–the object of both Leslie’s and Fate’s affection–to enter the race, determined to strike a blow for feminism.

Graze Subscription Box Review

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Recently I was given the opportunity to review a subscription box from Graze. First off, I was very impressed by the packaging. It comes in a very sturdy box and the picture inside of the raspberries made me feel like I was getting healthy treats right off. The “goodies” are nestled in their own packages and all stacked neatly together. It was a treat just opening it!

From Graze: We offer three different box sizes. Our standard graze boxes contain 8 portion controlled snacks. We offer a variety box which will let you explore all the graze snacks we have to offer (taking your preferences into account, of course!) We also offer a calorie count box in which each individual snack pack is less than 150 calories, a sugar count box in which each snack contains less than 5 grams of sugar, a sweet treats box for those with a sweet tooth, and a savory box to satisfy your savory cravings. Read all about them here to see which box is perfect for you. Graze sharing box contains 5 sharing bags of snacks, which is about 20 servings. You can choose exactly which snacks you wish to receive in your sharing box and you can also control whether you’d like certain snacks to appear in every box or if you are happy to receive a selection from your full list. Occasionally, we will offer 4 snack sizes of specialty boxes.

Breville Juicer Review

breville-juice-fountain-plus-juicer-c

I asked Santa for a juice machine for Christmas last year and after doing some research I tipped him off as to which one I would like. Lo and behold! He got the memo. Ha.

It seems the older I get before I buy any kind of appliance large or small I spend some time reading reviews and searching for the best deal. This one seemed to fit the bill. Santa did pretty good!

We use this machine daily and it is so easy to clean. It extracts the juice right out of fruit and veggies and leaves a very dry pulp. You can always use the pulp in recipes. Great to thicken a soup and get the added health benefits.

The cost was a huge factor for me and this one came in at $149 here  It is still available and it is 15% off right now. Bonus!
