GIFT GUIDE FOR THE MEN ON YOUR LIST
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope your tummies are full, your house is warm and full of all your favorite things. We are having a white Thanksgiving and I’m not mad about it. You can smell the turkey in the oven and the chocolate cream pie is in the fridge. We are watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade and football will be on soon. I am so thankful that my kids are here and everyone is healthy and happy. I am thankful for you and thank you for supporting my blog. It means so much!
Hi! Mr. Tom here…Cindy asked me to get some gift ideas together for you because a man’s perspective on what he would like Christmas morning can be a lot different than what you might normally think of. I can only wear so many ties and sweaters. I enjoyed putting this guide together for you and I hope it gives you some inspiration for that special guy in your life.
Pikolinos Shoes – Great shoes! Something in a style he might not normally buy on his own. Unless he goes for fashion naturally most men have a black pair, a working pair and some tennis shoes. How about something fun but not too attention getting. And always get shoes that last! You really don’t buy that many in your life, especially if they are of quality.
Craftman Tool Set – If you buy him tools, buy good ones. They will last his lifetime and your grandkid’s. The lifetime warrantied Craftsman tools are now sold at Lowes. A basic set like this one will have him throwing all of his cheap knuckle breakers in the bin.
Professional Stud Finder – And a stud finder. Yes, you will probably use it yourself too. Knocking on the wall and guessing is just not worth it when you have this handy device. I went too many years without one. No idea why. They have ones under $10 but give this one a shot if you want to step up and impress.
Nespresso Coffee Machine – If he is a coffee drinker, let him have the best at work too. Nespresso is the most versatile, freshest tasting coffee, bar none. Best of all, you have the fill-in gift to give for all occasions all year, coffee capsules! Here is a compact machine for even the smallest cubicle. Even the smallest Nespresso’s give that amazing 19 bars of pressure for incredible coffee. Yes, it makes great Americano’s too.
Industrial Grade Snow Pusher – Live in snow country? Oh boy, the list is endless but here are some basics. Let’s start with the snow pusher he won’t usually buy for himself. It may look basic but it is truly life changing. He will forget he has a snow blower!
Carhartt Insulated Gloves – I can’t say enough about gloves for that snow season mess. Buy good ones! Yes there is a theme. Cheap isn’t worth it on key items like this.
Sorel Snow Boot – For almost any snow occasion. Let me recommend a shoe that can literally last a decade or more. Sorel snow boots! Many brands are available just check for waterproof, strong insulation, great grip and most of all… slip on! Unless he’s going hiking, these are what will be pulled on the most, trust me. Taking out the cans? Clearing the walk? Getting the mail? Running to the store for cheese? Trust me, the slip on feature keeps these boots right by the door all winter long.
Travel Packers – Does he travel much? A good friend turned me on to these years ago. Eagle Creek Pack It garment folders. My original one has lasted over 10 years now and I’ve bought more in other sizes. These things help keep you shirts and pants in place all the way around the world. They even show you how to fold for minimal wrinkles. The entire Eagle Creek line is useful.
Jack Spade Phone Case – Can guys have cool phone covers too? No, not Kate Spade, Jack Spade! Love it.
WeatherTech CupFone – And just in case nothing else works for you and yours, here something that will fit just about any man… the new Weathertech Phone Holder! Yes, it’s worth it. I’d skip the imitations and just buy the original, but up to you. One per car if you are up for it.
