EGG & CROISSANT BRUNCH BAKE ~ photo & recipe from Pinch of Yum
Looking on Pinterest is one of my favorites things to do and it always ends up being a search for food. Which then turns into pinning and then my boards are exploding with food categories. True story. HERE is the proof.
This is what I look for in a recipe:
- Easy. Easy. Easy. Okay, sometimes I make things that have more than 5 ingredients.
- Has ingredients that I can pronounce.
- Prep is not too involved.
- Has some protein and a bit of carbs
Here are the recipes this week that are on my radar. They have been printed out and written on my kitchen board. This brunch bake (shown above) looks so yummy and with croissants included this has to be a good one. I can’t wait to make it this weekend.
GRILLED SAUSAGE & APPLE PIZZA WITH GOAT CHEESE ~ photo & recipe from Eat Yourself Skinny
We just had a Spring blizzard this past week and all I can think of is grilling outside. Sausage, apple and goat cheese on a pizza crust sounds like something I would order in a restaurant. Actually, if these turn out as good as this picture looks we may be doing this for Easter dinner. It’s going to be low-key this year and I think this looks perfect.
HOT HAM & CHEESE PINWHEELS ~ photo & recipe from Kevin & Amanda
These are delicious and easy! Filled with ham and cheese then topped with a brown sugar glaze. I’m drooling just typing this. Add a salad and dinner is ready! I’m imagining myself on the back porch with a glass of wine in one hand and a pinwheel in the other. I keep telling myself that Summer is coming.
PEPPER STEAK ~ photo and recipe from Skinnytaste
My family is a HUGE fan of stir fry actually, I cook it at least once a week. I have forgotten how many times I have made this Pepper Steak. It is one of the simplest recipes I have ever made, hands down. I like to add some broccoli and orange or yellow peppers to get some veggies in also. It all depends on what is in the refrigerator at the time. I will eat my hat if you don’t love this!
GOLD RUSH ~ photo and recipe from Mantry
This is the perfect Summer drink, who am I kidding, I LOVE this anytime! I’m not a huge bourbon person, but there is just something about combining it with some lemon and honey that keeps me reaching for more. Do you have a favorite drink? I would love to hear what it is and perhaps feature it next time.
