I sampled this cereal for you! Special K comes up with some pretty great flavors. How about the one with chocolate bits in it or strawberry? Anywhoooooo…I like pumpkin and spice and get excited when the flavor debuts every year. I don’t try much of it I must confess. I mean some things like little muffins and packaged things just don’t do it for me. I am more of get a pumpkin spice latte once or twice (ok, I’m lying…three) and make some pumpkin scones. I prefer the homemade goodies…altho’, starbucks has a pretty good pumpkin scone. The icing on the top alone is worth the extra sugar rush. This cereal has a hint of pumpkin, not overwhelming at all. MrD thought it was too sweet, but I didn’t get that at all. Just the right amount of spice and sweet.
I bought this from a friend of mine 2 years ago. I told her the colors and it has stayed in such great shape. Still looks new. My front door is protected by a porch so that probably helps. It comes out the first of September and looks awesome on my red door…although in the this picture the door looks a bit orange. If you are one of those people who have mastered the burlap wreath my hat is off to you!
I have an obsession with dishes (I have shared this before), and MrD has an obsession with coffee cups. He is always on the search for the perfect size. We found these at Sur La Table. They are actually a child’s mug. It holds 6 oz. and the handle fits perfect in my hand. MrD likes a really strong cup of coffee (almost an espresso) and this works perfect. They also come in the larger “adult” size. I love the classic monogram lettering.
My kids only drink almond milk and we recently changed brands to Califia Farms. There is a new store in town and I found this flavor. Here we go again, but seriously it only has a hint of coconut and adds just the right amount of flavor to your cereal. I enjoy a flax cereal and this adds just the right touch. Bonus? I’m the only one in the family that likes coconut so I get it all to myself. Score!
This is my second necklace from A. Tak Crafts. She makes the greatest necklaces and you can buy them here. Every time she posts a new one I have to restrain myself from buying more. You can be sure that there will be one or two on my Christmas wish list. The quality is awesome and it feels very sturdy without being too heavy. I love the stones and she makes tassel ones, also.
The colors are changing in my part of the world. I love seeing all the splashes of orange, red and yellow on the trees. I have pulled out my scarves and boots…and yes, had a pumpkin spice latte, maybe two.
