FATHER’S DAY GIFT GUIDE
Hi Friends and Happy Wednesday! I took a much needed break off for a few days and just relaxed and tried to put things going on in our country all into perspective. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday on Sunday…I can hardly believe I have a 31 year old! It was a fun day outside in the sunshine and playing LOTS of corn hole games.
The Father’s Day Gift Guide this year was one that I worked on for a few days. I like to “shop” and find things that I know my hubby and father-in-law would like. A lot of these we have and use on a daily basis. My Dad passed away a few weeks ago and I’m still catching myself reaching for the phone to check on him and see if he needs anything. Enjoy your celebrations and give your Dad an extra hug this year!
A heavy duty BBQ Tool Set is always a good idea. I LOVE it when Mr. Tom grills for us and I love it even more that he has his own utensils and isn’t ruining my favorite spatula from my kitchen.
How about a cookbook to go with those tools? This Serial Griller has a lot of great reviews and says it is full of “killer” pictures, too! My mouth was watering reading some of the recipes.

We got one of these turn tables for our daughter at Christmas and every time we go to her home Mr. Tom loves to turn it on. He really likes how it sounds and has fun changing the albums. We just ordered these Smart Plugs for our home and Mr. Tom is pretty excited about them! You can talk to them through Alexa OR control them through your phone to turns lights on and off when you are not home OR even use them when you are home to check the lights (got kids that leave lights on ALL the time?).
I ordered this book About Your Father and I have been reading it! It is going to make a great gift. Peggy keeps you laughing with her stories about her husband and their everyday life. I’m thinking I really don’t have it all that bad! LOL
These sunglasses are scratch resistant and have UVA and UVB protection. I think the two-tone is really cool looking. A must for some time at the lake or sitting by the pool.

During the summer months Cold Foam Cold Brew is Mr. Tom’s drink of choice when we go to Starbucks. My friend has this Cold Brew System and swears by it! After reading all the reviews it is now in my basket. I’m sure hubby won’t mind me buying him a few things that we want for ourselves. Ha!

I have talked about this Ember mug before, but it needs mentioning again. As I type this, my coffee is happily staying piping hot in my Ember mug. It was a gift at Christmas and I have used it everyday since. We have bought two more and they are amazing! We have both sizes…10 oz. and 14 oz.
