The Christmas lights are up on our house the temps have dropped from the 50’s everyday to the 40’s and we turned on the heater! A lot of changes in just a week since our last Friday chat. I’m just now running out today for some Halloween candy and I’m hoping that there is still some good stuff left. This is the longest I have ever waited to buy candy! We are going to be “babysitting” our daughter’s goldendoodle on Sunday so between getting out the Christmas trees, passing out candy and watching football it should be a pretty crazy day!
Friday Favorites – My Favorite Things This Week – Vol 12
1. Shoes that are washable and come out looking like new every time! I wear these outside AND as slippers inside.
2. I’m reading this new book from Nicholas Sparks and so far it is so good. I keep waiting for a tragedy tho! Ahhhhh. Are you a fan?
3. Aerie is having a 31% off sale [dropping new things daily]. I’m ordering some pieces from the “Cozy Class” pieces. They look amazing and a friend turned me on to them!
4. My daughter gifted me this wet brush for my hair and I use it on the daily. It is great for brushing product through your hair before you dry it and to fluff your hair when you need a refresh. Yes, it’s cute too!
5. Speaking of hair, Oribe has their new Holiday Collection bundles out and they are so beautiful! I’ve used these products for years and love the smell [has a touch of their signature fragrance in them] and that they are free from all the “yuckies”. These will make a gorgeous gift.
6. Every year…I think think this is year 30 that I have been filling out calendars for our family for Christmas gifts. I put all birthdays and anniversaries of everyone in the family including the age and what year anniversary it is. At one time I was doing 20+ calendars and now I’m down to 12 or so. I’ve tried to get out of it, but everyone loves it and I it takes a lot of pressure off of what to send for a gift. For the brothers, sisters, in-laws and outlaws! I usually add some homemade fudge and we are good to go. Lang calendars are my all time favorite for the quality!
7. Recently we did an upgrade to our builder grade mirrors in our bathrooms with these frames. They were super easy to install and only took about 30 minutes. Lots of color and wood options. We are really pleased with how they look.
8. I’ve started my Christmas shopping for the guys [getting the hardest ones done first!] and this sweater is perfect! Check out all the new holiday items while you’re there!

10. You know I have a mug obsession and here is two new releases from Williams Sonoma. Santa & Mrs. Claus. Aren’t they adorable?!!
