I started getting Stitch Fix about 2 years ago. It is really fun and I love getting a box each month. I mean, who doesn’t like getting a “surprise” sent to you? Surprise as in…you don’t know what the clothes/items are. Some months it hits right on and I keep everything and sometimes I send it all back. I usually end up keeping at least one or two items each month. It is fun to get something that you might not normally go for and after you try it on and think “that looks pretty good!” The items you don’t want you just put back into a pre-paid envelope that they provide and stick it in your mailbox. That simple.
If you want to give it a go you can click on the Stitch Fix picture that is on my side bar. If you try it out, let me know. I would love to hear what you think about it and how you like your fix. Here is what was in my box this month…
Pistola Elouisa Rolled Cuff Denim Short ~ $58 ~ Returned them. They are a little too short for my comfort and I really have enough shorts for this season.
Papermoon Maula Cap Sleeve Knit Top ~ $48 ~ Returned it. While I like the colors (would look nice and crisp with a white pair of jeans or skirt) it just didn’t hang right on me so back it went.
Romolo Genevieve Stacked Chevron Pendant Necklace ~ $28 ~ Returned it. I have one very similar to this one already so couldn’t justify another one. It was a temptation though…it is very pretty in person.
Daniel Rainn Angelyne Button Back Top ~ $64 ~ Kept it! As soon as I saw these colors I got excited. Sure enough…it fit perfect! It has covered buttons down the back and is a little longer to help hide that big bum of mine!
Market & Spruce Angelo Cargo Anorak Jacket ~ $108 ~ Returned it. I was really disappointed with this one. I had requested it in a different color from the one they sent me last month. This one the sleeves were too tight. Not sure if there was a size problem because the other one fit perfect. It just wasn’t cut right. The nice thing is I can request another and they will send it next month. I will think about it.
One more thing…your stylist will write you a note and you get these pictures to help give you ideas on how to style an outfit with your new piece. That is always helpful especially to someone like me who tends to get stuck in a rut.
Tomorrow I am road tripping to Colorado with my daughters for a family wedding this weekend. I am excited to see loved ones that I haven’t seen for years. A wedding is always great for that. I will be sharing pictures and highlights with you next week. See you then!
