Stitch Fix #1 Subscription Box
Getting a Stitch Fix box is like getting a Christmas box every month. So much fun! A few years ago I had a subscription and loved it at first then the company went through some changes and my boxes were not so fun anymore. They have re-vamped some things so I am giving it a go again. Here is what came in Stitch Fix Subscription Box #1.
I was so happy with everything that came in my Stitch Fix box this month. Some items were winners and some had to go back. I will go into more detail, but first want to tell you more about the subscription.
Steps you take before getting your box:
- Fill out a form with your general information.
- Complete a style evaluation ie: styles you like, size & colors.
- Add a credit card.
- Tell them how often you would like to be styled (get a box).
Added features that are new to me and I’m really liking:
- You can pay a one time (yearly) $49 and your styling fees ($20 a month) are waived.
- Added shoes and handbags.
- Now have a men’s box & a kids box.
- You can go on daily (if you wish) and do a style shuffle. They show you different items and you give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down. It helps them get more familiar with what you like and don’t like.
- Get a box once a month, every other month or just when you want to request a fix.
- Keep your stylist or switch to another if you are not “clicking” with them.
Sending items back:
- Simply put whatever you don’t want back into a pre-paid envelope and drop it back in the mail box via USPS.
- Go online and mark whether you kept an item or sending it back (you can request another size of any item if you wish).
- You have 3 days to try things on, check out and mail items back (new feature: add more days for returns, LOVE this!).
Loved the color and the fit of this sleeveless top. I kept it and you can find it HERE. Perfect with jeans, patterned shorts and pants. Great under a jacket to give your outfit a pop of color. It does come in a variety of colors which I have linked for you.
I was really excited about this cap sleeve top because I didn’t have anything purple in my closet at this point. Such cute detail down the front. Doesn’t wrinkle and is great for travel. Looks adorable with with jeans or shorts, too! Couldn’t find the exact, but linked a similar one HERE for you.
My first reaction to this top was “I love this one!”. The red is so pretty with the big floral print. Reluctantly, I ended up sending it back because the arm holes were cut a little too deep for me. I really went back and forth trying to decide, the pattern and color was a winner.
I have requested another top in red because I liked the color on me so much. Similar top linked HERE.
The jeans were sent back because there was too much of a gap in the back. I am the hardest person in the world (or so it seems to me) when it comes to jeans. When I find a pair that fits I will grab more than one.
Do you have a hard time finding that perfect pair of jeans? I would love to know what your favorite brand is! Drop me a comment so I can try them out.
One last item was the necklace. It is so pretty and different from anything else I have. You can see a closer picture of it in the first picture above. It had a tiny piece that had fallen off (it was in the box) and I mentioned it on Instagram.
They immediately sent me a message and said they would send another one out and they were sorry that this had happened. I was pretty impressed! So you are getting excellent customer service. You can find a similar one in color HERE.
Can’t wait to share with you when the next box arrives. HERE is a code that you can use to get $25 off on your box.
If I can answer any questions for you, just let me know. Are you already a Stitch Fix subscriber, I would love to hear about it.
Linked is a review of the Spring Fab Fit Fun box, in case you missed it.
