Hi! Hope you are enjoying the last few weeks of summer. My husband and I had a really nice week at a cabin in Wisconsin this last week. Our oldest daughter and her husband came up for a few days. We had a great time grilling, playing LOTS of games, canoeing, book reading, celebrating our 31st anniversary and relaxing. Came home refreshed and ready to prepare for Fall. What have you been up to? Kids back in school?
This week I am sharing my love of gray. It’s one of those colors that just sucks me in and I find my closet full of it! Above I am wearing a new “sweatshirt” from Aerie. It is more like the softest top that you will ever own! I seriously just want to curl up and read a book or grab my pup and take a nap. The little blue floral print “dresses” it up a bit and you will find me wearing it this fall with a pair of booties and a light jacket. psst…it’s on sale for $25 🙂
Grab yourself a pair of gray Levi’s and you can “summer” them up with a floral top and some sandals and in the fall just add a cardigan and some booties. These gray sandals come to you from Sorel. Oh yes…they are comfortable and super cute IMO! Also on sale and comes in a variety of colors.

Oh my gosh! We finally got a Kate Spade in the outlets near my house. I have been waiting for 4 years for one to come here. Yes, I wanted to buy everything. 🙂 I will be there often. What does this have to do with my “gray” post? Nothing. Ha! It’s just that I happened to have to have a new gray top on when this picture was taken. Here I added one for you in the fall/winter colors. Just happened to have a top that matched the strip on this cardigan perfectly, but you can pair this about anything. I bet if you did deep in your closet you have something. Dress it up with a necklace or go more casual with jeans and boots. What would you pair this with? My jeans are some I’ve had for awhile (see a Levi trend here?). These are great pull-ons so you don’t have that zipper bulge. I am always on the lookout for this style. NYDJ and JagJeans have some pretty awesome ones, too!
