Favorites This Week ~ January 20 – 27
Hi Friends! It’s hard to believe we are through the first month of the new year already. With a severe sinus infection and now some pretty wicked allergies I am ready to start a new month! How has the first month of the year gone for you?
Today, I am bringing you the Favorites of this Week from the blog and social media. These are the ones that got the most clicks and comments for the week.
Mia snuck into some of my pictures and she has been extra snuggly with all this cold and snow.
Button Back Tunic // Jeans // Open Back Booties
I don’t wear a lot of plaid, but this top is so comfortable! It has a really cute button down detailing on the back (yep, I forgot to get a picture) and it is a longer length in the back. Wear it now with a cardigan and in the Spring with a blazer. The sleeves are buttoned also so you can push them up for another cute look. It comes in 8 patterns.
I get asked all the time about my jeans. They are from American Eagle and I now have 3 have pairs that are on constant rotation. They are 44% off right now.
After searching for awhile I found the booties! I bought them last year and was determined to find them for you. They are a little pricey, but worth every penny. They are available in 5 colors and will be some of your most comfortable shoes.
These socks were sent to me to review and I have to say they are better than any socks that I currently had! With Merino wool they are so warm and comfortable. They have a padding on the bottom and I am finding myself wearing them around the house and with my boots. I love them so much I just ordered a few pair of “no show” to wear with my sneaks. You can get them HERE. They come in quite a few different colors, too.
I have gotten lots of queries about my pink boots in the picture. HERE is another pair that are really cute also and on sale! I wear a pair of these almost everyday in the winter. They are great in the rain, snow and keep your feet warm especially paired with the socks.
Did you see the post on Travel Tips to Disney World? Mr. Tom got all excited reading it and said he wants to go again! Full of tips that we learned from our trip last year. Read it HERE.
Sweater // Jeans // Booties // Necklace (similar)
I think I’m going to start calling myself the “Comfy Sweater Queen”. Ha. I really don’t know how else to describe the sweaters that I get. SOFT. COMFY. COZY. Got any other words I can use? All this describes my sweater and you all really liked it too! It is 40% off and all sizes available today. I’m wearing a Medium for size reference.
These jeans are pull-on and so easy to wear. I really like pull-on jeans because you don’t get that bump from the zipper and it just helps your tummy area look smoother.
My boots/booties are fun and I’m surprised how many times I find myself reaching for them to “spice” up an outfit. These come in 7 different patterns.
Buffet // Lamps // Lanterns // Candle // Mirror is an antique
So many questions about my buffet! Yes, it is red. In a world of everything is neutral furniture right now I know it’s a little bold, but I LOVE it and it’s staying with me. One of my favorite pieces in our home. It is big. It is heavy. But that’s okay because I LOVE it! She hides a lot of stuff and is so fun to decorate. I have had it for about 7 years now, but I did find it at a furniture store (linked above) if you would like more details on it.
I just wanted to give a shout out about the candle. It is a soy based candle in a dough bowl. If you want to get it refilled you send it back to her and she will refill it for you. Or use it for other things, it is so pretty! Also, she is a small company and is using some of her profits to help her family in another country. It is always nice to support small.
If you missed it HERE are some of my favorite sweaters and HERE are some really easy and delicious chocolate muffins you can whip up for the BIG GAME on Sunday!
