This week we went out to find some fall colors and it wasn’t a huge success. I think there are more orange trees on our street! Also, I think I am chasing a dream of those perfect pictures where there are miles of oranges, yellows and reds. Tom is convinced we have to go back east to see all those colors together. I’m not convinced. Tell me, are the colors changing where you are? Leave me a comment, I would LOVE to know!
Friday Favorites – My Favorite Things This Week – Vol 10
1. I pulled out my sorel booties this week because it turned cold and rainy. This is my second year with this particular pair and you can’t go wrong with any of them! They keep you dry and warm and the styles keep on getting cuter.
2. All the fall smells have been burning at our house with the new scents from Antique Candle Company. One of my new favorites is Vanilla Bean. They are fixing to release 4 new coffee flavors and Tree Farm is 20% off right now. It is amazing and so good I bought 6 of them in a bundle last year! I know I’ve shared these before and they are just too good not to share again!
3. This After Dinner Game came in my latest FabFitFun box and we keep it sitting on the table. It is fun to pick a card at dinner time and usually gets us talking about it for the rest of the meal. Would make a great hostess gift and/or stocking stuffer.
4. Do you have a shacket yet? I wasn’t too sure about the trend and now I’m in love. I’ve worn mine 2 days in a row! It’s really warm and comfy and I love how this one is so long. Covers the bum really well. Some of them aren’t as long. It comes in 2 colors if the green is not your color. Here is a really cute solid color as well.
5. I love to grab a hot coffee or tea from home when I’m out running errands. I’m partial to my own coffee, but I don’t like having to remember to bring my travel mug back in from the car. These disposable cups are adorable and almost too cute to toss in the trash on the way in the store, but I do. Ha!
6. This is my favorite easy soup and I’m making it this weekend. It’s quick in the instant pot [she gives you stove top instructions as well] and turns out perfect every time. I’ve made it so many times that I’ve lost count! I do add 2 chicken breasts that I have diced into small bites and it is a complete meal.
7. Last Friday I shared a supplement from SeroVital that I started and this week I can tell you that my energy levels and sleep have been amazing! Along with it I am using the Suddenly Smooth Gentle RetinAll cream and it is equally as amazing. My skin feels so good and I’m excited to see my results.
8. Tom found a new brand [to him] of shirts and loves them so much he just bought 3 more! They are perfect for everyday and for travel. Virtually wrinkle free [we’ve never had to iron them, just fluff in the dryer] and the patterns are really good. He’s looking pretty sharp for his zoom calls!
9. Did you know that you start losing collagen in your 30’s? Yes, I wish I had known this awhile ago. This brand is my favorite and I have been using their products for about 4+ years now. I recently started putting collagen in my morning coffee or my afternoon tea [sometimes both!] and the first thing that I noticed is that my knees don’t pop anymore. My skin feels nice and Tom’s [he likes the chocolate flavor in his coffee, makes it taste like a mocha] hands have cleared up from an eczema problem that he has had since a teenager. We LOVE this stuff!
10. I bought this hat last winter in the tan and was happy to see that they made it in black this year. Yep, I bought it.
