Friday Favorites – My Favorite Things This Week – Vol. 2
We are on our way to Florida for some time relaxing, some seafood and long walks on the beach. We thought about flying, but decided to drive again so that we can take Mia aka: Muffin along with us. She is such a great traveler and we just have a hard time leaving her behind. I haven’t tried taking her on a plane and if I could keep her on my lap all the time I probably would. Have you ever flown with your pet?
- Mia loves these new to her Movin’ & Groovin’ bites. They keep her joints strong and healthy and full of chicken flavor along with antioxidants. I love that they are made in the USA as well!
2. This mug and warmer set from OHOM looks perfect for the person who fixes a cup of coffee and promptly forgets it! [my hand is raised high] The base keeps your coffee warm without making your cup hot and the base is also a phone charger. What’s not to love. I’m partial to the Sky Blue color…which one is your favorite?
3. The weather turned a little cooler and I find myself reaching for this terry hoodie in the evenings. It’s the perfect weight to keep the chill off.
4. A recent purchase from amazon this top is going with me! I usually don’t go for a baby doll styled top, but this one hits in all the right places and doesn’t feel or look like maternity top at all. I ordered a small and it fits perfect, so definitely go down a size…unless you are busty then I would stick with my normal size.
5. I use this product on my hair every time I wash it and before I blow dry. It has heat and a UV protection that is perfect when you are going to be outside a lot. It makes my hair smooth and shiny and it’s been a favorite for over 3+ years now!
6. If you follow my on IG you will see a lot of our dinners that I cook out of this cookbook. There has not been a recipe that my family has said this needs to be a repeat. I’m taking it with me to Florida so I can do some cooking for my in-laws too. Everything is calorie conscience so you can have that glass of wine and a little dessert!
7. Tom LOVES “Happy Socks” and I found them marked down 60%+ off depending on the set you get. They are comfortable and I love that he makes a subtle statement with his socks since he wears a blue shirt for work everyday.
8. Homemade pizza is a must around our home on Friday nights. I found this pizza cutter a few months back and it’s amazing! No worrying about a sharp blade that could potentially give you a cut. It slices the thinnest to the thickest pizza perfectly AND you can throw it in the dishwasher.
9. This is my new swimsuit/romper. Perfect for walks on the beach then back to the pool. It has pockets and I like the shorts the cover me up a bit. I’m just more comfortable that way! I got the blue tie dye and it comes in three other solid colors.
10. Did you know that Nordstrom Rack has Flash Sales? They have a new one pop up daily and run for a few days each. I have snagged some awesome deals there like this crossbody bag for 78% off!
