Welcome to the last Friday Favorites post for April! I can’t believe I just said that. Where did this month go?

We were supposed to be leaving tomorrow for FL, but because of some circumstances out of our control we will be hanging tight at home. Our temps will be getting into the 50’s this weekend and I am hoping to get our patio table out. The decorating itch for the back patio is getting pretty strong!

Friday Favorites – My Favorite Things This Week – Vol 28

BRAHMIN HANDBAG

1. Brahmin handbags have been a lovely obsession of mine for years. I think it was at least 20 years ago that Tom surprised me with my first handbag (he has great taste!). This denim tote is my latest and it is so gorgeous! It fits my laptop and everything that I would need for working at my favorite coffee shop. It comes with a strap to carry it on your shoulder as well.

BLUE LIGHT READERS

2. These readers should be here tomorrow and I can’t wait to try them out. I work for hours on the computer everyday and don’t know why I never realized that they have readers with the blue ligh blocking feature!

BRAIDED SLIP ONS

3. The braided slip ons are still all the rage this year! Supporting shoes are important for me since having vein surgery years ago and I finally found a pair that has some support. I hope. Will let you know soon as I try these out.

BODY BRUSH

4. Dry brushing has been around for hundreds of years and some of the benefits include: it’s exfoliating, it increases circulation, it’s invigorating and energizing. My favorite is how soft and silky my skin feels afterwards. It just takes a few minutes before you jump in the shower. I don’t do it everyday, but once or twice a week. You will love how it makes you feel!

SNEAKS

5. With the weather warming up that means getting back outside for walks and exploring. These sneaks from Sorel are my all time favorite because of the support. I wore these straight from the box to walk around Disney all day and my feet never got sore and my legs didn’t feel fatigued. I’m a lifer!

BALLOON SLEEVE TOP

6. Perfect for spring when the temps are still a little cooler. I picked up 5 of these tops and brought them home to try out. I still have them all simply because I can’t decide which ones to keep! All the colors and patterns are so good and the cotton is soft and very comfortable.

COLLAGEN

7. I have tried so many different kinds and brands of collagen and I keep coming back to this one. Collagen is essential to maintaining good health. My joints feel so much better since using it (for about 2 years now) and my skin loves it. Adding it to my coffee each morning is the easiest for me that way I don’t forget. I mainly use the unflavored, but they do come in flavors: vanilla, caramel and dairy free.

TIERED DRESS

8. This dress that you got a little sneak peak in the above picture is so adorable! Feminine and flattering with the ruffles this would be a great dress for a wedding, baby shower or anytime you have an occasion to dress up.

CASABLANCA THROW

9. Worth every single penny! I fell in love with this throw at a cabin we stayed at and had to have one. It is on the couch and Mia thinks it belongs to her. My girls threaten to steal it every time they come over and Tom says I am silly, but secretly he loves it too! This would be a great Mother’s Day gift and/or spoil yourself. I found it HERE also with a few more color options.

WINE PRESERVER

10. Another great gift for Mom. This wine preserver is fabulous for keeping your bottle of wine fresh and tasting like you just opened the bottle every glass! It is used just about every night around here and it ceases to amaze how wonderful my glass of wine tastes. No more throwing out the bottle because the flavor has gone flat!
