Sparkling Outfits for a Happy New Year 2020

The meals are all planned, the presents are wrapped and the stockings are stuffed. The girls will be over early tomorrow for a day of baking cookies and pies with lots of Christmas music and a glass of wine or two. This is the time of the year we look forward to all year long.

Christmas Eve will be our traditional pajama exchange, games and movies. I used to buy everyone’s pj’s, but with the kids all grown we started drawing names a few years ago. We have had some downright crazy pj’s…these kids like to keep it really fun! One year we all ended up with characters and one year over-sized ones that were hard to keep on. One rule is that you have to wear the pj’s that you got all Christmas morning long while opening our gifts. I think there are a few of us that are always nervous to see who drew our name! Tell me a tradition that you have in your family for Christmas…I love to hear about the traditions that families have.

It was so much fun shopping for Sparkling Outfits for a Happy New Year 2020. True to form I’m keeping it casual with some jeans or a pair of black pants. Here in Minnesota it is cold so I am always looking for ways to dress it up a bit while keeping my legs warm. Changing up my tops for some sparkly outfits to bring in the New Year.

This sweater is so fun with the sequins across the top and it is nice and warm. It comes in 3 different colors and my favorite is this magenta one. I got to take all my pictures inside…remember that Minnesota cold. Ha!

A sequined bomber jacket is always a great idea! This one in silver is lightweight and makes you feel so fancy. I paired it with a maroon velvet top and you can put so many colors with this. Even go all black and then add a pop of color with a necklace. This jacket would be great for date night. Wear it with jeans or that little black dress.

You feel like you can do anything with a gold sparkly top on! Add some champagne and you are golden. Ha! My shoes are from my daughter’s wedding 9 years ago and my necklace is from a little jewelry store here in town. It was a Christmas gift from Mr. Tom last year. I have linked similar in the shoes and the necklace for you.

I’m all about a sweatshirt and one that has sparkles and says CHEERS…the best! Of course, I paired it with jeans and some comfy pumps. This brand (in the sweatshirt) runs a little small so make sure you go up a size. There are a million different ways that you could style this. So fun for a party and any day of the week. How would you style this fun top?
