Hi friends and happy Tuesday! Last week I documented what I wore and that’s what I am sharing today. Looking back over the pictures realized how casual I really am. Ha! Not like that’s a bad thing, just a new stage in my life. I went so many years of having to dress-up for work it feels kinda nice to throw on some comfy jeans and sneaks for the day! Do you keep it casual for the most part or do you dress business casual for work?
On Monday I usually do my grocery shopping for the week [all about avoiding the weekend crowd] so today called for some comfy shoes and a light sweater that was perfect for a 65 degree day. This is my second pair of sorel sneaks and I’m a lifer! I bought mine at a local store, but found them on Amazon in more colors.
Tuesday turned a little cooler so some distressed jeans without having holes in them [they are layered] was perfect for today. If you saw my Amazon Sweater Try-On this is one from that post. I paired it with some leather Keds for today’s look. Earlier in the day I baked fresh bread and then ran and bought caramel apples at a local candy shop then delivered them to all my kids. So fun! I got three compliments on my sweater!
Sorry about the bad lighting in these next few pictures. It wasn’t very sunny this day and I needed some light, bad idea. LOL Anyhow, I was working on the computer most of the day and Tom says, “let’s go look for some fall colors!”. I threw on a super cozy sweater that I got during the Nordstrom sale and was ready in a few minutes. We didn’t have a lot of luck with the colors, but had a fun drive and that’s what matters! In the next picture I threw on this new shacket and I’m glad I added it because it was a little bit cooler out than I anticipated.
These leggings are by far the most comfortable to wear on a daily basis. They stay true to the color and don’t turn white in the bum area when you bend over. Pockets on the sides are the perfect place for your phone and when you have a long jacket over it no one even sees it! Let’s talk about these booties for a minute. They have zippered sides, are waterproof suede, have pattern disruptions to keep you from falling in snow and ice…I could go on and on! Oh they are comfy, no breaking in time. I have three pairs.
Here I am with leggings on again, I told you I wear them a lot. Another item I wear on the daily [first thing I throw on in the mornings to take Mia out] is a sweatshirt. I must have at least a 20 of them…I’m wearing one right now as I type this! My fifth sweatshirt from this company and they are all so comfy and cute! Leaves and Lattes is what this bright orange one says. My shoes are fabulous because they are washable so if I wear them outside I can throw them in the wash and then they are back to being my slippers as well. You will have a hard time finding a more comfortable versatile pair of shoes!
