Ultimate Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients
  

  • 34 large marshmallows
  • 1.5 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup butter (use real butter)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 package chocolate chips (or 1 3/4 cup measured out)
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Butter sides of sauce pan (unless using non-stick).
  • Butter the pan you will be pouring your fudge into - set aside.
  • Put the first 5 ingredients in your sauce pan and bring to a gentle boil over medium high heat - making sure to stir constantly. When it comes to a boil set your timer and cook for 5 minutes. It will puff up and then settle down.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla until smooth.
  • Pour into your prepared pan.
  • Chill for about 2 hours or longer (until hard).
  • ***Optional...add 1/2 cup chopped nuts when you add the chips & vanilla.
