Ultimate Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients
  

  • 34 large marshmallows
  • 1.5 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup butter (use real butter)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 package chocolate chips (or 1 3/4 cup measured out)
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Method
 

  1. Butter sides of sauce pan (unless using non-stick).
  2. Butter the pan you will be pouring your fudge into - set aside.
  3. Put the first 5 ingredients in your sauce pan and bring to a gentle boil over medium high heat - making sure to stir constantly. When it comes to a boil set your timer and cook for 5 minutes. It will puff up and then settle down.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Pour into your prepared pan.
  7. Chill for about 2 hours or longer (until hard).
  8. ***Optional...add 1/2 cup chopped nuts when you add the chips & vanilla.
  9. Enjoy!
