Winter has arrived at my house! We woke up to enough snow that I has to be shoveled. Yes, I am putting it off and writing a post instead…that snow ain’t going anywhere. ha.
Since Thanksgiving things have been a little (well more than a little) crazy around here. We bought a house in our neighborhood that our son and daughter are renting from us. I am glad that it is so close, but still getting used to not seeing them around here every morning. They are having fun decorating and getting settled and I am truly happy for them. They have popped by a few times when they were hungry and I hope they always do that!
I’ve gotten off track here…that seems to be a pattern of mine. *sigh* There are so many pretty winter colors right now, but I don’t think I would want to wear all winter white right now…remember the snow? I would look like a floating head. Well…maybe not. Black is just a good staple to have in everything from hats to shoes. You can always add that pop of color with pieces like a scarf, statement necklace, top or even your handbag. Here are a lot of my favorites that I already own or are on my Christmas Wish List.
Nothing like a good pair of boots especially when the winter months start to kick in, UGGs are always in my closet as our wellies and ankle boots.
My feet always have to re-adjust after the winter from all the boot wearing. LOL
