Goodness this last week went by like a flash! Tom and I got a little yard work done last weekend before it starting snowing. We just stood there and had to laugh! This weekend I am looking forward to going to a Spring Bonanza that is in our area. They have antiques, some hand crafted pieces and of course, food. I’ll post some pictures on my IG stories this weekend. Do you have any plans for the weekend?
FRIDAY FAVORITES – MY FAVORITE THINGS THIS WEEK – VOL 25
1. These tea towels are so pretty (lots of patterns to choose from) and I’m partial to the ones with the pom-poms. I like to keep seasonal towels hanging on my oven. Gives the kitchen a cheery look!
2. I know I have talked about this silicone utensil set before, but when I saw them at 65% off it needed mentioning again! We use these on the daily and I have bought my kids each a set and they love them as well. I’m buying more for gifts!
3. If you are looking for a white dress this lace midi dress is so pretty! I am 5′ 5″ and the midi always hits me just right, not too short or too long. I would pair this with either some nude sandals or some really bright ones for a pop of color!
4. Made with mother-of-pearl this necklace is the perfect dainty size to add just a touch to your outfit. I wear my star necklace with t-shirts to dresses, it’s always just right.
5. There is a new Old Navy in town and I’m going to give this jump suit a go! It looks perfect for my upcoming trip to FL. There are so many great sales across their whole site…up to 65% off!
6. I like to change up my bedding for the summer and winter seasons. Especially living in MN we need heavier bedding in the winter. This new comforter set looks nice a light for summer and I’m liking the colors. Paired with the floral sheets will be so pretty.
7. My friend on IG posted this dress and I fell in love with it! I ordered it right away and I hope it looks half as good on me as it does on her. The color is stunning and I’m thinking a date night is definitely in order with this one.
8. Tom and I have been on a bit of a steak craze lately and while our favorite way to cook meat is out on the grill the weather just hasn’t been cooperating. I found this recipe for air fryer steak and I have to tell you it’s pretty amazing! Dare I say…it’s as good as grilling outside!
9. With Easter just around the corner this adorable bunny wooden serving board is perfect for your table! I’m going to use mine for a charcuterie board with some cheeses and fruit. It’s so cute I think it will stay out all summer long!
10. Slimming shorts are a must under dresses for the summer! I’ve tried hundreds (not hundreds, but it feels like it) of different brands and styles. These are my favorite and I have multiple pairs. Perfect even for a summer day and with enough coverage that if the wind blows up your dress you won’t be embarrassed. Plus, it gives you a little shaping without cutting off your oxygen. The best!
