I’m currently sitting in Daytona Beach at a condo on the beach and it is pouring down rain. Ha! The weather has been beautiful up to today. Tom, Mia and I came for a week to spend some time with his parents. I’m hoping that my flowers at home still look like this when we get back. This weeks Friday Favorites – My Favorite Things This Week – Vol 3 includes some things that we always take on a road trip plus some of my favorites that I ordered from the Nordstrom Sale. Have you taken a summer trip this summer?

1. Mia absolutely loves her bed/chair for travel and trips around town. She sits up high to see and even curls up for a nap.
2. This car phone holder is perfect for holding all sizes of phones! I like that it sits up a little higher and easy to reach.
3. I forgot to pack my body lotion and picked this one up at CVS. It is smooth and creamy, doesn’t leave my skin greasy and perfect for after a day in the sun.
4. I have been checking the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale daily and picking up a few things here and there. These slide sandals look so comfy and this pumpkin color is going to be so fun for late summer into fall. It’s now open for EVERYONE to shop!
5. From the first time I used this straightening iron I felt like I had arrived and now a “big girl” hair styling tool user! It’s part of the #nsale and I paid a lot more!
6. If you are a licorice lover these will be a favorite. All the flavors are so yummy and I honestly can’t tell you which is my favorite they are all the good. Soft and full of flavor!
7. Since turning 55 a few months ago I have been researching nutrition and want to make sure that Tom and I stay healthy and feeling good. Have you heard of the Blue Zone? I’m just getting started on this book and so far I am liking what I am learning. [I know I just talked about licorice, but “baby steps” LOL]
8. Anthropologie is having 25% EXTRA off their sale items and I got another favorite blanket and some adorable coffee mugs for the holidays.
9. This Rib Hoodie is unbelievably comfortable! Even though it is 90 degrees outside and didn’t want to take it off when I tried it on. I can’t believe it is still available in all the colors and I would order asap! Reg. $79, Sale $45.90. It is true to size and I got it in the Rust Spice and just ordered in the Black.
10. I don’t know if it’s the heat this summer or that I’m using my phone too much, but my pop socket keeps coming off so I ordered this 9 pack of replacement stickers. It has 2500+ reviews so we should be golden!
