Hi Ladies! Can you believe it’s the last week of April? I feel like we just got started in this month and then I blinked and here we are at the end! It was a fun one with a birthday celebration and Easter. All the beautiful spring colors are coming out from flowers for the yard to dresses, sandals and pretty tops.
As I mentioned in Friday’s Favorites about the Nordstrom Trunk Club Box, today I am sharing what came in my box for April. Lots of pretty spring pieces to take you right into summer! Let me know which pieces resonate with you and what are you looking for going into the warmer months ahead.
Nordstrom Trunk Club Box For April
MAXI DRESS (I’m wearing a large) || SANDALS (from my closet)
This dress is a jersey print material with a wrap top and a belted waist. It is very easy to pull on and slimming!
TOP (size Medium) || JEANS (from my closet)
Lightweight and the smocked top is very pretty. It is pretty see through and I think it may look better with the white pants. You just very slightly see where my jeans hit. It has a button key-hole closure on the back and the smocking is all the way around. Gorgeous top for those hot summer days. I would pair it with a pair of shorts and some slides.
TOP || PANTS || SANDALS (from my closet)
I’m wearing a size large in the top and I think a medium would be a better fit. It is a little big in the armholes. The blue color is gorgeous (comes in 10 colors) and is perfect to wear along or under a blazer or sweater. Here is one with studs down the front. The pants are chinos and I’m wearing a size 12. They are a little big in the back waist (I have that problem with a lot of pants) so I would consider sizing down. Made of cotton and very comfortable! I kept them on to try on more tops and they kept getting more comfy without stretching out.

Love this top with the ruffles down the front and at the shoulders. Such a great feminine touch to add to any outfit and would look adorable under a blazer. Perfect for the office and then out to dinner! I am wearing a medium and debated on sizing up for a little looser fit. It is a bit see through so you will want to wear a nude bra with this one.
A looser flowing top that is longer in the back is always a plus for keeping some coverage over the bum. Made of a lightweight crepe you won’t have to worry about wrinkles (think travel). It comes in a few more colors and I’m wearing a large. Definitely need to size down on this one! Depending on how comfortable you are with a lower top I would wear a cami with this one…although with a smaller size it might not be a problem. A great top for the summer and for layering!

Still have these comfy pants on! At first glance at this top coming out of the box I thought “no way”, but after putting it on and tightening up the tie at my waist I liked it! Once again wearing a large and would size down. It is navy blue and has a small circle pattern all over. It comes in a light pink that is really pretty as well.
RUFFLED DRESS || SANDALS (from my closet)
You will feel dainty and pretty! Perfect for summer (cute with a denim jacket, too), a wedding or everyday! I wore my favorite sandals and to have a more dressier look I would wear some strappy sandals like this pair. For a more casual look wear it with a pair of sneaks! The smocking is all around the top with a zippered opening in the back. I love the sweet little flowers with the pops of lavender. You will be reaching for this one over and over…it’s super comfy!
PANTS (top and shoes are old from my closet)
I was completely shocked when I tried these pants on. I felt elegant and classy while feeling oh so comfy! These pants are so slimming and the pleats elevate them. I am 5′ 5″ and 170 lbs and wearing a size 12. I think a 10 would be even better. After putting on my highest heels in my closet and they are still a little long so they will need to be hemmed. They come in black as well! Sorry they are so wrinkled, but after a minute or two in the dryer should do the trick.
If you are looking for a super comfortable, easy to put on and wear all day straight out of the box these sandals are for you! From Naturalizer with a soft upper elastic and a cork wedge heel. They look great with a dress, jeans and shorts.
